Sliding in guitar is always very intimidating to hear and see. However, even experts in guitar playing have said that sliding is easy to learn if you are determined and ready to practice consistently.
Sliding in guitar is simply doing a sliding motion against the strings with the use of a slide. Slides are very much available in music shops. Others have made their own slides using bottlenecks. Whatever you are using, make sure that you are comfortable with it. The slide should not be too tight nor too lose. It should fit your finger perfectly.
A lot of people who are taking slide guitar lessons are complaining that sliding in guitar playing is difficult and complex. 5. Do not try to learn everything at once. Do not feel that you have to learn how to slide in your first day. You start off with the first string and try sliding back and forth from the 5th fret up. If you are fully satisfied with the sound, go up to the next level.
6. Practice and practice your slide guitar lessons. Practice is still the best tip for learning slide guitar. Practice makes you feel that sliding is gradually becoming natural for you. You will know that you are successful in guitar sliding when sliding becomes natural to you already.
